combine two solar panels of different wattages

Hi all I have a 120w on my roof at the moment can I combine it with a 310w and if so how do I conect together I will have a victron 100/30 mppt

I don't know the exact parameters of these solar panels but I'd think they are so different that there won't be any way you could usefully combine them in either series or parallel. If you look at the cell layout probably one is 9 x 4 and the other 10 x 6, and the voltages will be very different too. It would have to be separate controllers for each one. Having said that, two controllers would probably work together pretty well without much problem, especially if they were both mppt type.
