Looking for some help with my combi 4e fitted to a 2012 motorhome.

Heater attempts to fire but after short time I get a constant red light on the right hand selector.
Same issue on gas as well as mains hook up. Also same if just water heater mode is selected.
Overheat reset hasn't popped out on boiler. As it's an older model there is no reset button or LEDs on the PCB. Any thoughts welcome.

Is the outlet clear or possible fan problem ? There is a combi strip down article in the Resources section, at the top of this page, that may be useful (in Motorhome technical section)

Thanks Geoff. I did a full visual check, all fans clear. On site at the moment so will have to wait until I get home to dig deeper..

It may be worth trying a complete power shut down to see if that resets the combi , if your PSU is a Sargent item it should have a black power shut down button on it.

Heater update - managed to see the fault code led flashing, helps if you don't switch off the remote panel! Code suggested faulty combustion air motor. Sourced new part which arrived in a couple of days, fitted and all working now. Thankfully Truma parts available unlike Dometic devices where parts are no longer made for 10 year old freezer, obsolete! Fortune to replace the entire unit. Luckily I traced back the wiring and found a corroded wire just before I gave up. Thanks Geoff for your help. Much appreciated.
