Colin, originally from Scotland, is running a charity for rescued animals here in Murcia.

He is also a drag queen who does shows in Benidorm. Apparently his shows are worth seeing if you like sort of thing.

I've volunteered to help at the rescue centre as necessary (wild horses would be needed to get me Benidorm though ) but some of you might like to give support there. The shows for November are on his Facebook.

Haha I don't watch it, and I've told him so.

I made the mistake of saying this on his Facebook page and I was attacked by trolls.

Colin sent me a PM, apologising, as he understood we don't all like such programmes, and closed the content.

We've since met, and will be meeting again (or helping out), over the coming months to get their new land ready for the animals to enjoy.

He's a workaholic. How he does it is amazing (and I don't use that word loosely.)

He's up with the cockerels in the morning to do all the farm stuff, and then out to Beni (not so close to here) to do two shows a night. Back at the farm at around 2 a.m. a quick check, then bed.

Rinse and repeat on show nights.

He then opens the farm for visits at weekends and, he's organised a bus trip weekly from Beni.

I don't do Beni (or any other nightlife) and I'm careful with my Facebook.

He certainly looks like he never stops has a heart of gold with all the animals and always upbeat great that your helping out

We're off enjoying ourselves, motorhoming, like we do.

Apparently, today the big boys toys arrived to clear the new land. It was filmed, but take it from me that it was today, not some months in the future when you might see it on the telly!!

Today I went as a sort of volunteer (got a tee shirt anyway) . It was supposed to give Colin, Sebastian and Hugo time off for Seb's birthday, but instead it gave them time to go and work across the lane on the newly flattened land, to get a trench ready for the concrete for new gates.
