Hi guys. My MH has been fitted with what looks like a Cobra 8510 immobilized and I want to programme a new touch fob to it. I've tried the instructions off the net, turning ignition on and off three times etc but nothing seems to happen.

Any ideas?

Can’t help as I have a different system, but I am sure that the ever helpful funsters will be along shortly to offer their usual good ideas and technical knowledge to help...

Thanks but this is not the one I have. My fob does not have buttons, it has a contact on the end that you touch on a contact on the dashboard.

You will need a existing working fob to program a new one Turn the ignition on an off 3 times and then on within 7 seconds the pad light will illuminate touch working fob to pad and then each new fob in turn. Turn off ignition when finished.

Looks like you are a bit stuffed. Are there any Cobra alarm specialists locally?

Dunno. I'll have to put my hand in my pocket I suppose.
