Hi All,
Can anyone tell me of a coach built motor home with a very maximum width of 2.2 wide.
I presently have a 56 plate Compass Advantgarde 140 and want to upgrade to something with a large 2 door garage. I would like mercedes sprinter rear wheel drive, any idea's folks?

I think you’ll find Hymer Exsis T and I they are coach built and A class are 2.2 we have a B678DL which is 2.2(y)

That’s overall width mirrors out.(y)
Not so sure about that. Hymer give a body width of 212 and an overall width of 222. However the notes say the body width is from outer wall to outer wall and the overall width includes wheel arches, no mention of mirrors.

Van widths are always give without mirrors same as cars.

In addition to the Hymer Exsis & ML the new range on FWD Mercs are 2.22 wide.

Just measured our van and o/a inc mirrors is 2570 and the mirrors would be a bugger to fold as they are coach type.

True for Exsis and ML (still RWD) but the FWD MCT and MCI are showing as 219 body width and 229 overall width. It surprised me to discover that currently the only FWD Mercedes Hymers are a little wider than the RWD equivalents.

Interesting, the MLT might be easier to fold being Sprinter ones.

Yes they are easy to fold on the Sprinter used to do it on my work van when using the car wash.:D

Thank you guys that gives me somewhere to start looking. The reason for the narrow body is poorly parked cars in my road.

If that’s the case anything with coach mirrors would be high enough to go over most cars without folding.(y)(y)(y)

Our Knaus Van ti is 2.2 wide, which I find great for narrower roads, but still have Mirror Guards for extra protection! :D

Nu Venture Nu Rio is 1.9 wide and 2.2 inc mirrors. But 'cos it's smaller, no garage and not rear wheel drive. Fully equipped MH though.

There is a 2019 Carthargo A Class at less than 2.2m but the equivalent coachbuilts are wider.
, strange. However they are all Fiat based not Mercedes.
