Seen these on Facebook!appear to have everything and at bargain prices! Ie £79 to £179.anyone got one and an opinion ?

Not got one and there appears to be more than one version. One with and one without Live Traffic.

If it is this one https://cmnav.co.uk/products/7-cmna...tflix-latest-2020-eu-uk-maps-and-premium-pois
I wouldn't be interested in it given the spec, eg
  • Android Kit Kat was released in 2013
  • 800 x 480 pixel screen
  • 768mb memory
  • 16Gb internal memory
  • max 64Gb sd card
  • doesn't appear to have map updates included
  • etc.
Looks like just another "cheapo" Chinese model and you can get them cheaper than the prices you mentioned.

I've got one with live traffic, purchased last year and had the chance to use it a few times before lockdown. It worked very well for me, it's Chinese made indeed, but not the cheap ones you find for a few quid on marketplace.

I've contacted the seller for map updates and they provided me with anything to download and a video tutorial about how to do that - pretty straight forward job to be honest.

I'm not sure about what others think, but my experience was a great one with them. Especially after sales service, communication, video tutorials etc., something that Tom Tom doesn't have to be honest, despite the double price they charge.

And speaking of cheaper ones, I did a lot of research on ebay or amazon, and I couldn't find any with live traffic on there, except for Garmin and TomTom which I had and they are rubbish in my opinion. They might be good for lorries, but they are completely useless for motorhomes.

I don't feel like the unit has low specs, because I only use it as a sat nav and sometimes Netflix, and it just does the job without freezing or being laggy. For other things I've always got my Samsung tablet with me so I'm not bothered about high spec for as long as the unit does what it says "on the tin" and it doesn't freeze.

Just tried mine on my first journey to Cornwall, last week. I must say, it's a very good piece of kit for the money. I've always used Garmins, but recently the live traffic info stopped working on it which was a major let down. I was a bit doubtful about these ones, but I found Christian very helpful, and he answered my questions even in the weekend. I was struggling with postcode search and he immediately sent me a video about how to do this. Can't fault the service and the product, to be honest.

Fits in very nice as well and it has a larger screen than my old garmin
