CLs/Sites in Lancaster area - any recommendations? (1 Viewer)

We're thinking of stopping for a few days in the general area of Lancaster, with a view to visiting Morecambe, Carnforth, the Forest of Bowland, and Lancaster itself.

Can anyone recommend a CL or site that would be reasonably central for such a trip? We've got CCC membership but that's it. It doesn't need to be fully-featured or costly, and EHU isn't essential. In fact the fewer rules, regulations and privet hedges the better. Most of the time abroad we use aires.

Have a look at this map 'Sites for £10 or under'. I have been recently been searching for such sites and there are some in your chosen area.

Stayed at 'Freshfields' last year, little CL which is VERY cosy... https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/certificated-locations/england/lancashire/carnforth/freshfields/

Site was ok, but just 'ok'.

That said, the beach was a three minute walk away and I literally had the entire beach to myself most mornings on the dog walks
