Where are all the classic sports cars heading that I saw driving south on the A2 south of Lisbon yesterday? Some beautiful cars there. Looked like some sort of rally.

Where are all the classic sports cars heading that I saw driving south on the A2 south of Lisbon yesterday? Some beautiful cars there. Looked like some sort of rally.

There is a classic car meet on the sea front the first Sunday of every month at Armacou de Pera, but that is a long way from Lisbon.

Some classic car clubs visit from the UK. I think a few of the Lisbon owners own holiday apartments here. We get some very interesting cars, last month there was a replica type 35 Bugatti, and a pair of very nice Light 15s

There is a car rally running in central Portugal this coming weekend all around the area we live----- not sure if it is only classic cars but it runs every year and has a lot of great old cars!!!!
Trouble is we will miss it this year as we won't get 'home' until it has finished

World Rally championship rally portugal this weekend our son is there working fot M Sport Ford so they could be off there.

Super old cars are one of the perks of living in Portugal,the owners really go to town on bringing them back to "New" condition. Magic.

Thanks all...... these guys were in old XK jags, Austin Healy 3000s, MGs, classic Porsch etc. There is a rally La Grand Tour which went this year from Cape something or other in Southern Portugal to Cape Cornwall....but that was a week or two before and starting in Portugal and heading north. Oh well, lovely cars though.
