The classic car show at the Pershore Plum Festival is on at the same time as the Funster rally at Wyre Piddle.
We took our AH Sprite with us to the Funster rally last year and then drove the two and a half miles to the show.

Another good weekend is the Kop hillclimb on the outskirts of Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire.
We have stayed on the popup campsite in the school car park just a walk around the corner from the show fields.

Northumberland Classic Car Gathering. On at Tynedale Rugby Club, Corbridge on, I believe, 24 August. The Rugby club operates an aire throughout the year, but I don't know if they suspend it for the event. Corbridge is a nice town with some decent pubs and artisan shops. There is a decent curry house, The Valley Tandoori, right next to the aire.

For the ultimate you should try the Classic Le Mans. Should be on the bucket list for any classic car fan. Trackside camping via event companies or some UK car clubs. Book now for 2025 I think. Spa Classic in Belgium is also a great event held in May each year with nearby dedicated camping.
A bit closer to home is the Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle near Exeter in July. Itā€™s a big show in a lovely setting on the Exe estuary and there are plenty of campsites in the area in places like nearby Starcross and Dawlish.

18 August and camping is available.

Check out Shuttleworth in Bedfordshire, they have lots of events on during the year, including classic cars at some, also lots of flying. Many of the events have camping on site and the Shuttleworth Collection and Swiss Gardens are well worth a look around too.

Could book a pitch on the other field (our no-go area), or there's always next year. šŸ¤ž:unsure:
That 'Other' pitch is booked up longer and quicker than the rally field. (Or are you talking about that bit of field
next to the stewards van.)

Don't suggest that, the owner of the Marina doesn't realise what he has.

Oh well, looks like it could be next year then, at least it will give them something to look forwards too, if they come thought the fast finger test. :giggle:
