Hi, I’ve got a 2004 Fiat Ducati CI Carioca 625 and it looks like there’s been some changes made to the bed which comes from the seating which is either 2x2 seats facing each other with space for a table, or the space for the table can be filled in with a cushion resulting in a L shaped settee. The legs under the 2 x2 seaters pull out to give a slightly wider bed, but that then leaves a gap between the base and the wall under the window. Currently that’s gaps filled by a couple of off cuts of wood which works ok, but if poss I’d like to improve it. The Manual doesn’t have anything about it and I can’t find anything of the CI/Trivago website. Do any funsters have the same van and could share a few photos? Cheers, Mark

I think the bit you pull out from the side to make the double bed can be used to make a single (lounge type effect) or a double as it folded over to provide the extension to marry up with the extended bit that came out of the double front facing seat.
Good compact motor we enjoyed for 8 years

Yes. And No

We had a Carioca 625 for 10 years. Brilliant motorhome for the price. (just like the one in the video.

One downside was the fact that the twin beds did not breath properly, so (while we used it) we replaced the nice bit of wood you are talking about, and others, with slats of timber just like your previous owner. (A common thing at the time).

hi
mine came with a board which is hinged in the middle. when folded this fills the gap as shown in the picture and makes an extra seat. when opened out ang legs extended then this makes up the double bed. I am not with the van at moment but will try and send you some pics tommorrow

Thanks for the help. I did see that Video before on YouTube and it certainly helped re positioning the ‘cushions’ for the bed and identifying that the panel I’ve got for the middle seat is not the original! Andy, any pics of what’s below will be much appreciated.
Cheers!
