Good morning all.

Bookings for Chester Camperfest are open, with a 25% discount if booked before the end of November using EARLY19. We've just booked to arrive on the Thursday, with EHU it came to £108.25 for 2 adults.

I'm guessing there's no Funster rally this year?
@Carol

I'm not marshalling it this year so not sure if anyone else wants to do it or what Jim is doing, lucky Easter is later this year so weather should be better.

Was the option of camping with MotorhomeFun available at booking?

Just booked for arrival on Thursday, EHU is £65! (on top of the £52.50 pitch fee) must be the dearest electricity in the country.. luckily don't need it.

@Langtoftlad
Don't know if you have noticed but Jim has started a thread asking if anyone would like to take on the marshalling.

Thanks for the heads up Carol, yes I had noticed the thread but I don't think I'm going this year... I feel as if I over committed to going to too many last year, so have cut right back.

Plus a tenner to get off.:)

Chester was our first ever Fun Rally,first trip out in our brand new van,:eek:we had a lot of fun and met some lovely people, apart from the weather it was a great experience.
Posted some memorable pictures below which many will remember:LOL:
The leccy cost us £50 last year, we thought that was dear enough then:eek:
top tip: Don't forget your wellies/waders
To all those going, have a great rally, hope it stays dryer this year for you all.
Les

The last time Easter was as late as 2019 is going to be, we had glorious weather throughout. I distinctly remember celebrating St Georges Day with too many jugs of Pimms ;'

Well I’m all booked in. Links nicely with Peterborough (y)
@Clive are you going from Chester Rally to Peterborough Rally? If so would you have space to take @Jim ’s gas heater and electric lighting from Chester to Peterborough . This assumes we can find a way to get them from Sutton on Sea to Chester somehow. Is anybody coming to Chester from anywhere near Sutton?

The lights could be parcel posted if need be. The heaters a different matter though, the gas makes it even more difficult. If it is cold A heater will burn a 13kg bottle of gas each night. Wait till we have a few more numbers booking, you never know the Marquee hire company might have a heater that Stephen/Briony could be persuaded to purchase '\

Ok, we can hire those gas heaters, but would be expensive
