For some reason my post has not been approved by the moderators but these batteries are available from the manufacturers in China for a little over £200 each. I would recommend you all do some research before parting with your money.
What about postage and import duty? Not only that but you need to demonstrate compliance which is particularly difficult with Chinese batteries. Then there is the problem of warranty should it go wrong. With a reputable UK supplier you will have some come back. Even at £600 each they are reasonable and they are entitled to make a profit.

Can you point to where you can buy a CE, E11 marked, guaranteed 100AH battery for $300.
Yes it was in my original post that didn’t get approved. These are manufactured by Lithtech, here’s another link:
CE marked and 5yr warranty
I concede they are not e11 rated however.

You would still have shipping, import duty and VAT. Not worth it in my view.

Includes postage, I concede import duty is on top

I admit I’m not knowledgable about about any difficulty but the ones I linked to have several certificates of compliance including CE. Incidentally where are the eco tree lithium batteries manufactured, I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere, you can be certain they will be from China, an likely this same factory. https://www.ltc-energy.com/battery-certificates.html

The one I linked to says 5 years

I noticed eco tree lithium setup in June 2020

At 200% profit I’d have to disagree with you (the £200 price I linked to was for a one off too)

How many do you have to buy to get them at that price from China and what do you do if they fail my bin is full of stuff from eBay lol

I think for anyone who is thinking of changing to lithium batteries it’s a good offer and I have nothing to do with the company above .

I also think it’s great that MotorhomeFun can generate so much publicity for a company and they are making these offers to members they may live to regret it if the product is bad lol

Looking forward to the reviews at that price I’m sure people will be happy

Whatever product you look at there will always be cheap and there will always be expensive, we have SuperB LiFePO4 batteries that make the Eco Tree look cheap, are the expensive ones any better than the cheap ones? possibly or do I mean I hope so otherwise I have been robbed ;)

I think only time will tell which ones are best value but I don't think price is the only variable so it is not right to judge a product purely on price.

If somebody wants to take a punt on cheap as chip from China thats their decision .

I buy from Alibaba now and again and as long as you use Paypal you are pretty well covered for no shows. Though I have seen forged courier dockets which paypal frustratingly accept. Tax and duty is always a mystery and varies inexplicably from nothing to ridiculous.

Broken, damaged or break-down then Paypal aren't so forthcoming. So if you are spending hundreds there is considerable risk. Getting battery guarantees honoured in this country is bad enough. You might get lucky with a Chinese company but likely you'll stand no chance of getting a zero cost repair or replacement.
