I am a bit like you, its ok not to join in the social media herd. But you see the merit of being here, so I’ll tell you I found a solution that works for me. I wanted to connect with a sailing closed group so joined facebook but didn’t contact anyone and ignored everyone who contacted me. Yes, even my grown up kids. Then, over time, joined a couple of closed groups. Classic Hymer and Hymermarket are a couple of them. I don’t use twitter, so can’t comment on it.

I was nearly persuaded to join facebook but when they asked for access to my contacts I thought no chance. A lot of people seem addicted to facebook despite the fact that nearly 2.2 Billion fake accounts were removed in just the first 3 months of 2019.
