A supermarket chain has implemented a plan which will allow for up to 40 litres of fuel to be exchanged for vouchers to be used in-store.

Yep, but didn't know about the fuel offer.

Is the heat addling my brain or is there something wrong with the writer's figures?

The article says:

Casino is giving fuel customers vouchers of up to 120 euros when people refill with up to 40 litres.

Which in my maths is a voucher worth 3 Euros per litre which is more than 100% of the undiscounted price per litre.
