Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a "chassis" mounted scooter carrier to a tag axle Carthago Chic E Line on a Fiat?
We already have a towbar fitted so extensions are in place. We have the axle capacity and the payload to accommodate it.

Yes. As it's an Alko chassis you can go up to 200kgs, BUT that includes the chassis rails, carrier and scooter/motorcycle. Try PMS at Poole, Towtal and Armitages.

Any chance you can compress the front suspension with a ratchet strap before loading. I have a friend who gets a Honda sh300 into his cline by doing that.

For the scooter we have the garage is just not quite tall enough.

I always thought the garage opening height on an E line was quite generous. My C line only has an opening height of 109cm yet manage to get a Honda PCX in (with mirrors removed).

Have you actually tried to get your scooter into the garage? Because the ramping effect reduces the overall physical height of the scooter by at least 2 or 3 centimetres.
