Hi we have a 2010 Autotrail frontier navajo.
Been in storage with a solar panel trickle charge in the vehicle battery. Leisure battery connected but everything switched off.
Got it out if storage started no problem.
So at home vehicle battery read 12.6 volts leisure battery read 13.8 volts, both batteries connected but nothing switched on. So started engine to check charge to batteries at vehicle battery 11.2 volts at leisure battery 14.6volts.
Does the charging system with the engine running charge the vehicle and leisure battery?
Or could someone please explain what should happen so I can check everything working OK.

Your Profile doesn't give any indication of where you are (update it with at least your county) but on this sunny day in Sussex the 14.6 at the leisure battery is probably the input voltage to the battery from the the solar panel.
To check whether the engine charges both batteries note their voltage after an hour with no EHU and engine off ( at night or cover solar panels so no solar). Now start engine and check voltage reading at batteries. They should read higher than previously if being charged by the engine. It's more reliable to check voltages at the battery terminals with a multimeter rather than rely on the dial on your m/h anxiety panel.

Difficult to measure with multiple inputs . Turn everything off and disconnect solar earth for 30 Minutes. Measure your batteries directly. Then start engine and measure again. Should be over 13 volts if charge being sent.
Some vans charge both, some only engine. Some are switchable.

It could be you split charge system taking power from starter to leisure battery.

I can change how my 2013 Auto trail Mohawk charges the leisure and cab batteries, using the menu on the panel.
