changing vehicle weight registration

Can some please direct me to where I can find info on changing vehicle weight from 3800kg to 3500kg tried search bar no joy thanks

You don't have to use a qualified engineer for down plating you just need a printed weighbridge ticket.

You just need to fill in change on V5 and send in to DVLA , may take a while atm and then make sure you dont overload 3500 you may also have to pay more ved .
