Afternoon all. Just a heads up for anyone hoping to attend ccc rallies and temporary sites, try and make contact about the rally before travelling.

We were hoping to go to the bridgenorth rally this weekend but it is now a booked event and is fully booked (due to covid) Would have been great travelling and getting turned away.

Probably isn’t all rallies but worth checking before you travel.

Out And About lists them on the CCC web site. Good ones book up fast, we’re going to Porthole Beach in Cornwall twice this year

We're booked on the rally at Weston Park, this weekend - Thursday to Sunday.
It's a huge site and you can park up well away from the families with children having fun (if you're grumpy like us:giggle:).
A lovely location if you want to just chill and walk in the extensive parkland, but not a lot else to do, nearby.
We're local but looking forward to spending a few days walking and sitting in the sunshine.

Took me ages to work out how to find the THS in the online magazine now that we don’t get the magazine delivered. I was going round and round in circles last year, mind you it took me a while again this year and I’m still not convinced I’m doing it the “easy” or correct way.

We booked back at the beginning of February for the THS with the Cornwall BCC at Hendra Holiday Pk. Newquay in September , its been fully booked since the beginning of March with a waiting list

Most are booked Meets at the moment, there is a really active group (All The DA's CCC) on Facebook that list a lot of the meets along with booking details otherwise the App or website is the best.

A lot of Summer meet have already been launched so if you want to go might pay to book early.

The app is surprisingly good! Check with the organisers that the meet is still on. - it can be a bit out of date.

The Out&About app is really good, gives you a choice off seeing Destination or Organizer also on the Map.

Thank you Janine, it really is good. I had no idea there were 3 apps for the C&CC! I’ve already found one THS for a gap between two of our planned breaks. It makes life so much easier. The website isn’t very user friendly at all. I was beginning to regret trying to save that bit of tree!

I think that most of them need to be booked this year. I have only seen one THS that says no booking required and that's Arley Hall near you :(
Yes it’s understandable the need to book. Apparently they only have 50 spaces instead of the normal 90 this time. I didn’t see any mention of booking looking on the app but may have missed it.

Where do I find a list of this years THS with dates please.
We still get the out and about mag with the rallies or the app is good.

Glad you posted this oozzie .
In the past hour I looked at the app and was planning bridge North but have to scrap that now.
Maybe Weston park if there is space or the staffs DA have a meet ..
We went to the THS at Southport last week just for 2 nights to test the van. Lots there but no issues getting in. 👍

The app doesn't seem to get all the info from the DA organisers.

I am planning on going to an FDSG meet in June and, if I hadn't contacted the organisers via Facebook, I wouldn't have known it was a booked meet.

tonka I don't think there's a problem with Weston Park. We only booked, this afternoon(y)
