Need to change our plans and move out of France and into Spain for the next month before going home because of the poor weather. Any suggestions of campsites for 2 adults who like site-seeing, walking and cycling. Many thanks.

There are a plethora of Phone apps available for site seeking... combined with google maps for location and reviews etc...

Or even google ... and ask “motorhome campsites near ???”...

We had a house in La Fosca bay,Palamos for about 15 years.It has several campsites close to the beach with cliff top walks and along the coast to the harbour in Palamos with its fish auction every night around 1700.Slightly further inland is Gerona with the Gaudi Museum and bustling markets.Very pretty area before you get to the commercial,touristy area of the Costa Brava to the south.

If you mean Catalonia, when you cross from France, into Spain at La Jonquera, keep going on the N11 until you reach Figueres and turn left. There are loads of sites down there with lots of cycling, walking and sightseeing. We have stayed at Camping Les Medes at L'Estartit several times and like it there.
