Does anyone know if there is a charge for the ELSAN point if you haven't stayed overnight?

I would expect there to be at least an honesty box, or a minimum one hour parking charge

we stayed in the car park twice recently, there is no charge for the Elsan point, and didnt see an honesty box, but that may be my bad eyesight. Saw a few people just pulling up to empty without paying for parking.

I can confirm no charge for using the Elsan point. No honesty box as of June last year.

I actually found out about an hour after first posting, but couldn't get online to update.

Yes, found it after circling the car park three times; someone had hidden it in a safe place


For the benefit of others who may wish to use the ELSAN point at this car park...
If you look at the toilet block from the car park side, it is to the left of that and at the rear, in its own gated enclosure. We couldn't see it as we drove past as it was obscured by a MoHo parked in the disabled bay.
I'm not sure if they expect you to pay for parking, but it's £3 for up to an hour, or free for three hours with a blue badge.
