Carthago (Fiat) Satnav

We’re new to this. Our Satnav just does its own thing whatever destination we put in and it’s so LOUD! Any advice please, can’t find anything in the Carthago bag.

What device is it? It's usually marked on the front, or come up in the menu, often under settings.

Without the make and model, it's difficult to advise.

It’s a 2018 model Fiat van. Satnav is Pioneer but no model number visible

I think I that you have to alter the volume when it’s actually speaking to turn it down

There’s only the volume switch that controls the radio in the top left corner

Thats the one you alter I think. On mine I just use the radio volume when the sat nav voice is speaking

The volume knob controls what ever is operating at the time you turn it. e.g. if the satnav is "speaking" you can use it to change the volume. Also buried somewhere in the menus will be a control.

Thanks Kenp. I’ll try the volume next time we’re out but I’m still baffled how to get to my destination. I’m no good with technology and don’t know what a PM is. I tried the website but didn’t get anywhere. We’re a bit old for this new technology!
