Carthago 149 / 150

We are heading toward the purchase of a Carthago 149 ( arriving in a few months ) and wondered if anyone on this lovely forum has such a van and would be able to tell me if a microwave could be fitted in the cupboard above the sink ? The 150 also shares the same cupboard I believe.

Might help if you said which range, C-Tourer or Chic-C-Line.

Arh I assumed they would be the same, but it is a C Tourer

The 149 is a Tourer, the equivalent C Line is a 4.9
If you join the COUK there will definitely be someone in the club that will have either done it or have the necessary advice.

I own a 149 and I would say no. I don’t think the cupboard is high enough for a microwave, unless a tiny one. I can measure up tomorrow if you wish ?

We have a151i .we put one in the garage if needed you wouldn't get one in the cupboards
In ours .

I have a compactline and removed a drawer adjacent to the hab door and fitted it there.

The cupboard above the sink measures 83cms wide, 42 deep, and 42 high
If you took the shelf out, you’d be able to slot a small microwave in there. That Russell Hobbs in the Compactline looks the appropriate size

The Russell Hobbs had a nominal rating of 600W and draws 1Kw. We've used it via a 1500W inverter and a pair of 120AH Lithiums

Excellent we have a 1500w inverter and 230a lithium so should work fine, thank you
