Essential travel only!!!!!Away up the East coast (Scot) Wed for a few days so hope weather is good.
Mine is on order with Park, I offered to part ex my 1DXmk2 so they could earn a little on that too but hasn’t made any difference, still waiting. I may keep hold of the 1DX2 for a few months until I am happy with the R5.I had my R5 and the RF 100-500 back ordered with park cameras for a few weeks kept checking web and found a R5 with UK camera club and I found the 100-500 on Saturday with CVP.com
I'll say this only once = Level 1 and Level 2 areas, that means, if you live in a low risk area in Scotland you could go away for a trip.Essential travel only!!!!!
Just sold my 100-400mm mk 2 to MPB and they will get first dibs on the 1DX as they offered another £240 more than Park.Otter Spotter
I traded in all my old EF lenses and my 5D iv and got the RF 24-105mm and the 70-200mm and cash with MPB.
Mostly landscape and wildlife been to Mull a few times after otters try and do a red deerwhat do you point your lenses at then?
Luck b*gger living in Scotland whilst we are all mostly locked down fro Thursday.Post some good shot to make us all envious. So i got R5 last week and looking forward to getting out with it I also got the 24-105mm 70-200mm and should have the 100-500mm tomorrow. Similar to me then though it’s more Wildlife then the occasional landscape, Shetland is great for Otters, Outer Hebrides is harder as there are so many lochans but the scenery there is amazing.Mostly landscape and wildlife been to Mull a few times after otters try and do a red deer
I love Otters hence the Moniker, I have spent years following Otters and photographing them since seeing my first one on Mull in the 90’s near Toransay Castle. The idea was that after retirement earlier this year we would head up to the Outer Hebrides for landscape photography then over to Shetland for the Otters, but we all know why that grand plan has been shelved.Otters are my favourite subjects, and Hares. I wish I didn't have to work so I could spend more time photographing them.
Very nice, I have been out with Neil some time ago.Otters tricky little buggers to photograph deer however much photogenic these were taken at Murlaggan i had a day out with Neil Mclntyre from Aviemore. Worth having a look at his web site.

One Otter for AnnB. I will post more once I have cleaned up my hard drives, I didn't realise how much crap I have saved ! Not one of my best .
The only Canon lens I kept when I moved to Sony was the 70-300l. It's a gem of a lens, especially for taking in the van when travelling light. Works pretty quickly on MC11 adapter.R5 up and running and I have spent a morning setting it up for wildlife photograph, now apart from garden cannot get near any wildlife
I am now thinking I will sell my Sigma 150-600 sport and Canon 70-300mm lenses and buy the new Canon RF 100-500mm telephoto. The weight saving will make it easier for me to get out and about.
Was that taken hand held or supported? It looks very sharpSome of me first pictures i would have posted more however up loads are to big.View attachment 441407
