Hi,

Does any one have a Hymer 634. Is this usable as a proper double bed. It has the pull out slats like on my old B544 but these ones don’t seem to be supported in any way....I could be wrong though.

If those are steel runners then yes.
Personally I would cobble together some kind of support leg regardless.
Even a couple of lengths of 3 x 2 on end would be better than nothing.

It will be a challenging angle to sleep at ?

by support do you mean some kind of leg to hold up the pull out slats ?
Yes or rails along the side. I suspect they are only meant to be pulled out a foot each side so the back rest can drop down, but that would mean they are still two single beds instead of a double.

Ah thanks Geo ! So perhaps it is a proper sturdy double.

Same as the design on my old caravan.

Fairly certain it makes a large double but you would normally use the front drop down bed with that layout.
