Can anyone tell me how long Sikaflex 512 take to set.

I've got a wee non motorhome job for my Sikaflex 512 but, I've got no idea how long it takes to go off/set? Can anyone help?

as you probably know it remains flexible i.e. not a hard set..

it does depend on the ambient temperature but when warm i believe its a few hours.

Hi Phil, that's excellent news, I haven't used this stuff in anger.

The skipper says he's used it on our boat and always leaves it overnight. The boat is in Greece and when it's used the outside temp is usually 20C or more.
Hope that helps.

Used it or its relation 219i, many times sticking fiberglass roofs onto vans ,windows hatches etc on boats
Skin dry in around 2-3 hrs but used to let them sit for a day before taking straps off,or re-tightening screws .

Nah he didn't hit anything, just a minor repair, one of those freak incidents.
