@Astro @Vanman so sorry not to have replied - I never had an alert to the thread and assumed it had run its course! Thank you for your responses.
Astro yes the sun was behind me, and it's likely there was drizzle (it was Cornwall after all) or spray. The example you attached is amazing!

I took this one of a beautiful rainbow yesterday...
Mo .. that aint funny ... I did that of a hot air balloon landing in the trees at the camp site in Stratford last year.@Brendan pointed out my error.
