Campsites near to Stevenage ?

Title says it all really, looking for a decent campsite close to Stevenage, say up to 1/2 hours drive, anyone have knowledge of ?

We used to live in Stevenage there are not many Ashridge farm CMC and Welwyn Garden CMC there may well be some CL s around Hitchin I think

Great site and even an ACSI discount site but probably not at this time of year.
19 mins drive to Stevenage according to Google.

In addition to what’s already mentioned there is the C&C club site in Hertford, 10 miles 20-25 mins to Stevenage spending on time of day.

There is a shortage of sites as you get closer to "our lovely Capital". I have reason to go regularly to the Farnborough Area (Family) and the site count has been dropping for years. Within a 10 mile Radius the count based on a 2007 Map, shows just 10 Sites "run" by or licenced by the 2 "Clubs", add a handfull of non club sites and you still have less than 15ish.
