Lyndon Top and Rutland Water this afternoon.
Not sure how we will manage to social distance.

That's good to hear, we might stop in there next weekend.

Archie’s Field CL, Letheringsett, Norfolk. £8 a night, we are Billy no mates, on a massive field.
Have you visited Natural Surroundings yet? The wild flowers were looking fantastic 2 weeks ago 😁

Check a block here in Scotland!!! Loads of empty pitches. Who dreams up the campsites are full crap ???

In the last 6 weeks weve had 3 midweek breaks( mon to thursday) 1st 2 were Cs sites with 1 other visitor for 1 night. Just come back from a ths surry/hants border upto 6 others. The world is not overbooked and crowded, somewhere will be available, even its 10 mile away and half price of preferred location.

Our favourite place.
Can't wait to get back there and many other lovely spots in France.
Roll on September. :france:
Same for us 13th September through to 30th March. See you on the road maybe

I think many formal camp sites are filling up not only due the current obligation to stay in the U.K. but also that the many newcomers are nervous about using CLs/CSs without access to EHU and all facilities. Long may it last.

I went to porthtowen yesterday to watch the waves and I couldn’t even get in the village, cars parked everywhere it was the busiest I’ve ever seen it… including on an August Sunday…😱

Cornwall is rammed so god knows what it’s going to be like when the schools break up…😎😎

I think that there is something in that. It is probably best to use a site with facilities till they get their head around it all. Especially if one is more in favour of doing it then the other, they will be trying to sell the idea still to their other half.

At a lovely place called Uplands Cottages in Somerset, very nice CL site, so relaxed we havent seen the owner yet… no one told us how to approach the little white pegs( theres none of that here, ) plenty of room for social distance. Worth reading the reviews on the CMC site. Near Cheddar gorge, so will be gorging on cheddar soon…

What are the bits of wood from under the levellers, please.

Been to three sites over the last week. Plenty of room, toilets and showers open. I wonder where all those supposed new motorhomes and caravans are parked? At home probably, frightened by the doom mongerers.

It will depend on where you go for your Hols.
I can imagine Cornwall/Devon/Dorset and all those type of places, seaside place and places of interest to families being very crowded this summer.
If you want quiet go inland and stay away from Places of Interest to the masses!
