When?. You may be better with aires if your trip is to be soon, of which there are many down the coast towards Dieppe such as Le Crotoy, St Valery sur Somme, Le Treport, Montreuil sur Mer, Fort Mahon Plage & on the sea front at Dieppe.

We really like this place about 90 mins south of the Tunnel near Le Crotoy on the coast in the Baie de Somme and try to visit a couple of times a year.

Lovely friendly site not too big but still has character, two pools and a brasserie. A few minutes cycling from the beach or the towns of Le Crotoy or Saint Valery.

You really need to say when you plan to go.
Lots of French campsites close between October and Easter.

Example the Le Croytoy one that orridge mentions.
