We need a campsite near Oxford with electric hookup for tonight, Sunday. Any ideas of a site that's open, please?

Can’t help with Oxford itself but we stayed at Henley on Thames and got the train in.

Looking at Search for Sites there is a site east of Oxford. Greenacres at Horspath.
It’s not a site we have used but might be worth a try.
There are other sites farther out at Kiddlington north of Oxford. Again worth a try.

Hi.
CL Kirtlington Oxford.... ( Used to take coal into the now closed nearby cement works on the way back from the " Welsh pits." Went to a Rally there with the Lynton club.............................. when we were younger. ( it was that long ago :ROFLMAO: )

try here..Oxford - Folly Farm

it's a CCC temporary site but I'm sure it's open year round.

You could try Durham Leys Farm CL at Marsh Baldon, OX44 9LP. We stayed two nights there this summer past. Very rural and very peaceful with two classy pubs within walking distance. Bus stop for Oxford nearby.

We have used Bridge Villa at Wallingford several times.

They close on 1st Jan until 16 Feb, but I doubt they are full so if you arrive on Sunday you should get in.

Large site, mostly grass, right by the river, walking distance into Wallingford with loads of restaurants, shops and pubs.
EHU to every pitch, decent shower block.

3 different bus lines into Oxford.
Or bus/taxi to Didcot and catch the train a couple of stops.
Or cycle to Cholsey and then by train.

There is another site just over the road by the swimming pool, it's closed for winter, but you could probably park overnight there.
