Currently doing a bit of a tour around southern Spain, son is visiting Gibralter next week for a wedding and we are hoping to catch up with him and the grandkids. Having trawled through the various websites including ACSI (which we would prefer) the reviews of all the sites are really mixed, so hoping that with all the years of experience on here that someone can recommend a suitable site in the area. We have electric bikes so can travel a few miles and the son will have a hire car but we are struggling to find a site that will meet our basic needs. Grateful for any advice.

Not cheap but great amenities on doorstep, right on A340, 20 minutes to Gibraltar.

How strange...no availability..

Alcadaisa marina. Near to Gib and around 18€ pn. Good reviews on search for sites. You need search for sites to do euro travel. Its free but the 6 € version is worth every penny.

Someone stated hols next week in Spain, hence why they may be busy.

Re Bella Vista, great campsite - one thing to have in mind that when we were they in April some of the seasonal pitches were a bit unloved which we were opposite.

But made up for with seeing Stelvis one evening with the entertainment they put on.

BELLA VISTA is great location but go down site other wise you are on AP7 as bad a A1, especially since they put rumble strips on road. And if you like the sun too many trees, we found the Marina Aires at Gib was great and 5 minutes on bike

I'm booked on Bella Vista for January, there was only 2 spaces left when I booked six weeks ago!!

Looking forward to seeing Stelvis strutting his stuff in the club.
