Campsite near/between farnborough and Basingstoke? (1 Viewer)

I wonder if anyone can help. I am looking for a campsite near Basingstoke or between there and Farnborough for a medium term stay for a work contract. I am a member of both clubs and have only found one that is close enough and that is on a working stables, and apparently between a motorway and a railway!
As I will be working long hours, I don’t think this will suit me...
Any other ideas from anyone, would be grateful.
I have also found Wellington Park which looks very nice, but their fees are £32 a night, and then I would end up working for nothing!

You could try the Fox and Goose at Greywell, I know a few who have stayed long term when working nearby.

You could try the Fox and Goose at Greywell, I know a few who have stayed long term when working nearby.

The jolly famer at cliddesden used to have a cl but not sure it is still there.

If you need to be near Farnborough there is a campsite at the Basingstoke canal centre.

How close do you need to be ?

Well I will be working four days close to Basingstoke and one day in farnborough ....
The furthest I want to be away is about 25 minutes. They have agreed me a two hour lunchbreak so that I can go back to sort out my 16 year old dog...
The canal one doesn’t have hook up...

If you have to have hookup. Could be a struggle. I'm in Basingstoke, but I do t have space for another camper on my drive !

There is a cs near Newbury that does have hook up , 25 mins from Basingstoke, but unless you have a car a awkward journey in

The pub the fox and goose at Greywell is friendly, and allow parking. Maybe phone them and ask if they could see their way to you hooking up ....

Thanks everyone. I will have my car with me, the hours I’ll be working preclude packing up every morning....
