We were there last September - no complaints here, but if you want 5 star luxury forget it, or book into the Hotel Capodimonte up on the cliff above (been there too).

We only wanted it as a base for seeing the local sights so didn't pay much attention to the facilities - bogs are straightforward, it has a small shop and cafe, wi-fi, EHU and a pool. Pitches offer some space around them, with trees. Access is quite tight - you need to drive down the road past it and make a U-turn to approach it from the right direction. The driveway to the camping area is quite winding and steep but not impossible.

There's a small supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the site entrance. It's at the opposite end of the town to the ferry port (Capri, Positano, Amalfi etc) and the bus stop and railway station are closer. It's very convenient for the old harbour area down the slope which has a number of restaurants.

To be honest if you want to base yourself in Sorrento this is your only option - the other 'campsite' in the town looks like a sardine tin, and a supposed aire in a car park costs as much as Nube d'Argento. Sorrento is a busy place - you're best on the outskirts.

I'd go back to it anyway, but I don't look for much in campsites as we spend most of our time away from them.
