We are on “Postern hill camping in the forest” site £23.50 for two nights(y) that is with age concession discount but pretty good value really, we don’t need electric so just a nice quiet pitch and somewhere to walk.

We really like it there Martin and Marlborough is a very nice town.

I paid more than that in New Forest for one night Easter no electric and senior discount

It’s also a great spot to stay when the Marlborough jazz festival is on.

Have you tried setthorns??
And if you want walking distance of brockenhurst shops, aldridge hill campsite.

That Postern Hill site is probably about 20 miles from us. Whilst we have talked about going there for a quick escape option, we have yet to do so.

We’ve stayed at Setthorns and the one in the Forest of Dean though, thought they were both good (especially with dogs).

Setthorns as gone downhill, my favourite bit Pine Tops is now full of permantly sited tatty old caravans with junk around them.

Apologies to all my F'LT friends for owning up to using a site, hope it wasn't too much or a shock to you.:ROFLMAO:

As a FLT I will forgive you, as it is useful to know where the 'turncoats' are so as to avoid them.

Big wide high street,

My daughter and family live by Marlborough College. I thought Postern Hill looked a nice site and hoped they’d put their caravan there for a few days so I could stay in it. No such luck :(
I’ll keep hinting.

Always fancied that one but never made it Martin.

I did wonder if it'd make a good place for a meet, being as the town is walkable :)

The thought did cross my mind, I shall ask(y)
