Has anyone used the above it is a table top bbq type grill that runs off gas canisters what i want to know is can you connect it to a larger butane bottle eg 3.9 kg size?
I've had a Camping Gaz Party Grill for about 3 years now and it's great, much easier to set up and pack than it's rivals. I use the R907 butane bottles which are ideal in Europe. There are two versions of this grill I understand, one for canisters and the other for refillable bottles. I don't know if you can convert between the two, though I expect not. I've used it for more than two people in the past.
I've had one of these for about 15 years, although haven't used it much recently. It was great for rustling up burgers and sausages for the kids when they used to camp with me, much more compact than a Cadac and a lot quicker than a real barbecue. Used to do bacon & eggs for breakfast on it as well.
Mine is the one that runs off the CV470 or CV270 canisters, they last a good while. They have since brought out one that runs off the Campingaz bottles - 407 or 907.
You can't change between canisters and bottles but I don't know if the bottle ones would run off a Calor bottle or an external barbecue point rather than the expensive Campingaz bottles. Certainly they need different regulators so I wouldn't have thought so as the regulator is built on.

it is great and runs either from my gas take off or a 907 bottle I carry as back up to my gaslow.
I had an older one before for 10 years and only retired it as the plates lost their non stick... and I dropped it......
Much better than a Cadac and much hotter than my parents cadac.
Just bought one in Jan, not used yet . Still if the weather continues improving it may get used. Runs off van gas, so pretty sure it can run off the screw top cannisters as I had an adaptor for the cadac we had previously.
The R907 Campingaz bottles seem much cheaper to fill here in Spain and they last more than a year for me with very regular use. They are much lighter than a Cadac too. The 2.75kg bottles are more practical than the 3.9kg in my opinion
The Party Grill 400 is a good price on Daniels link above
