campercontact has gone up

I got the email as well and after a great deal of thought and assessment of our finances I thought we could just about afford it. Hopefully we can use it properly next year.

hi carolyn . yes we joined when there was about 16.000 aires now its above 30.000 but must admit now we are older we tend to use camping car parks especially driving to Spain through France in winter you can guarantee electric & water & safety which is important . val

Sorry , I was making a bit of a joke about the cost! Campercontact is handy because it shows everything quickly including sites you have to pay for. That’s why I like it. I just find it very user friendly.

In January 2020 I opted for the monthly subscription: saved me a few bob!

Just used Search For Sites on our trip away and I like the navigation link in that you can choose what Nav app to use.

Have most of the apps on my phone but found this site the best.

Think I have three apps but always go to Campercontact first.BUSBY.

Yeah just my out and out favourite (y) just for the simple reason when we get there the holiday has truly started.
But on the other hand it's also when it finishes as well.:crying1:

Camper Contact is now free just a bit limited if you don't use the paid version, only 3 reviews & 5 photos and can't do a route. Otherwise the free version is pretty good.

You can quite easily get satilite view, click on the site you want then click on itinerary and you will get it up in Google maps then look at the satilite view in that. Simples (y) ;)

Only gives you navigation no satellite view, can't even get when you go through to maps.
What are you viewing on?
I'm using Android 10.

Look at my photo , click on that square in the top right hand corner then you will get a selection of views.
 
Then you should get this, one will be Google maps if that's what you use.

Us too. We use a mixture of aires, taverna car parks, pretty / hidey hole parking spots but the latter are our favourite. Especially when they’re next to water of some kind!

Horses for courses.
Whilst in Greece we have only used p4n and found some lovely spots - ask anyone on the Morning thread!
We never go to places which don’t have photos, have fewer than 4 stars or have no reviews. I always read the reviews, especially the most recent, looking specifically for comments about the access and the surface of the parking area. Plus any concerns about safety. A nearby taverna is a plus!
