Last year I made a mess of signing up to Camper Contact. I ended up paying twice, on IPhone and IPad. Now my phone tells me I need to pay again, my IPad is working fine. I have tried to log in on my phone, using the same login as my IPad but it still wants me to pay. I know it’s not breaking the bank cost wise, but I would like to know how to sort it, please

Try uninstall the app and re installing
Then try and log in again
If that doesn’t work then contact Campercontact support via their website or the AppStore

May I be so bold as to recommend park4night or searchforsites , both do a similar job ,work on anything and best of all, free

Depends on where you are going, sfs is good in the UK and Western Europe. Travel east though and it’s not so good, a couple of weeks ago Camper Contact was our saviour in Poland.

I don't trust or use search for sites any more. It's let us down to many times just this year. Park4Night much better. At least they keep it updated.

Is this poland

We find Camper Contact more reliable, got fed up with Park4Night taking us to places where you can't get anything bigger than a PVC in, just use it as a last resort.

Am I right in believing the Campercontact subscription is for one device only? Although it works quite nicely on my PC - yess it's the full version - came to install on my new phone yesterday and it would only install the "Lite" version despite logging in with the same details. If I remember correcly this happened last year too - as you say, it's not breaking the bank so I subscribed again.

I've now got all the recommended apps on the new phone (the old one didn't have enough memory and the battery was rubbish anyway) so I'll be trying them all out over the next couple of months.

I've also downloaded the POI files for the TomTom, see how we get on with that. Also the CSV files which I put on Microsoft Autoroute for the navigator/sweets dispenser/handwaver in the passenger seat!

Even though I would be happy to pay I only use it (need it) on my TomTom as a free download.
I have loads of other PIO on my sat nav including Public toilets / Mcdonalds / Wetherspoons / Morrisons (for butane refills) and many others. They are so handy.

I have the full version on two Android devices, but only paid one subscription.

I agree with Lenny HB, re Park4Night often not suitable for anything much bigger than a PVC. :(
Fortunately, the last time we used it, it was out of season, so we were able to use a coach parking bay for the night, a good fifty yards away from the original suggested POI.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Are you logging in using the account page? if you are and it is still not showing as the paid up version try doing an update and log in again on the account page and if still no joy then try an uninstall and new download and log in on the account page.

We have an Autograph 750 and have never had a problem with P4N spots.
I make sure I read the description and as many of the comments as I can before choosing the spot. Usually it'll say somewhere if it's not suitable for anything larger than a PVC, or there's a rough track to get to it. I've tried to use CamperContact and search for sites but find P4N much more straightforward.

I was using a iPad for CC then decided to get a new iPad (for gps) , it would only work in lite version no matter how I logged in , then 5 days later out the blue I got paid version again

I have uninstalled on my IPhone and reinstalled, logged in via my account and it is still on Lite.

Its working fine on my IPad and I have just logged in on my Lenovo and it worked ok. Which is a miracle as I hate my laptop and only carry it in case I need something with a usb.
I have emailed Campercontact but no reply as yet. Thank you for all your suggestions.

Just a quick question, on your laptop are you logging into the website or is your laptop running on android and you are using the android app? and did you pay for it? Just asking because the website is free but you have to pay for the app every year on android or iphone.

Edit, just saw that it's ok on Ipad so I guess you'll have to wait for them to get back to you.

I went on the website on my laptop and logged into my account that I opened on my IPad and it worked. Hopefully Campercontact will help.
