Fancy having a return visit to Blackpool
Last time we stayed at a site more or less right in the town,, I remember it was down a dead end road, but little else
I have googled myself to distraction trying to find the place !

Any suggestions from the panel for a site to stay at as close as pos to the town ( Gonna break a a long time habit and not wild this time ! )

There are also several car parks where overnighting is allowed and also Lythem St anne's "aire" not far away..

Have to say much prefer Southport,, !!!

Thats the one Steve !

We want to do the lights and the tower and fancy going on a proper site for once
We could not get away in the van this summer so gonna treat our selves LOL!

The Aire at St Anne's last week. Horrible. Although the Aire on the North beach of at Anne's was ok

The Camping and Caravanning Club usually have a Temporary Holiday Site at the rugby ground during the Illuminations. Although not a full site it has all amenities and is very reasonably priced.
You need to be a member though.

The haven site sometimes has discounted stays, very cheap at times , about a tenner ,bus into centre ,at the gate plus an open topped one for the lights at night.
We have been twice, excellent.

C & MC Club site Blackpool South is very good. Its at the Lytham end. Get the bus into Blackpool which is not far.

We use the Hampton road site anytime we visit BP, its a basic site with a great location and you get to use their social club where the locals are very friendly. I think when you work out the price of the Aire and bus to BP you're as well staying at the site.

We have used the Hampton road site before.. Nowt special other than its location .. Right where it need to be :-)
Mind you, I have been ringing bothe that site and the Haven site since yesterday and not got anyone to pick up yet !!

You can do all the haven stuff on line , availability and booking.

You will need to book early as Hampton road is a busy site
club good on a Saturday usely have decent turn on
Sunday is country western they turn up with outfit and guns funny when they have there shoot out
But a good night

After trying most of the day to call Hampton Rd I just gave up and booked the Haven site
£50 for four night on a super pitch..
Even tight bum me thinks that is a bargain !

We have used the Blackpool one twice and thought it was excellent, entertainment if you want it quiet if you don't , bars dear but you don't have to use them.
We have also used haven offers allover the country and always found them the same,
Brilliant (y) (y) :)

Don’t they have rallies at the south shore cricket club, the bus stop is right outside.
