Living in the over populated expensive SE corner storage for our Moho is, for us, quite expensive, for the last few years we've used the CAMC site at Alderstead Heath, in 2018 this cost £600 per year, not too bad ?
However with the annual increases this is now £745 next year (£700 this year), theres a Cassoa site nearby which has just closed and the other 2 have waiting lists meaning I realistically have little choice.
My bugbear is that the site, due to the fact they haven't found sufficient staff, is currently closed and has been/will be for the whole of November & December. They allow storage customers in but you have to give 24 hours notice and there are no washing facilities etc.
They have received business rate relief and furlough for the site during the whole Covid thing yet storage customers keep paying full rate with reduced access. I don't mind when Covid is the reason but when its their own failing then they stick an extra £45 on the bill for next year is just asking too much. I wrote to them but they just said tough luck, pay up.
Rant over..... anyone know of other storage around here ??

Make an official complaint to both the local council ratings office, & HMRc re ;the furlough.
