Understood. There will be those who are restricted to the UK. However, I strongly suspect the vast majority could use Europe and if they dipped their toe in the water, would never look back. Each to their own for sure but one thing in my mind is certain. UK campsite users get ripped off something terrible.

I just had a quick look at DFDS Newcastle to Amsterdam for next April. Newcastle would be the closest port for us.

£370 return for a commodore cabin but food would be an issue as we both need medical diets.

For be just over 10 nights' UK camp site fees at £35 a night ...... sorry but it's UK for us for the present.

and think of the diesel you would save if you were to spend a pound more and go Gibson Park!
