We're in Spain, we live here, but at the moment we're motorhoming.
So far we've not found any parking areas closed, some attractions are closed if social distancing can't be managed. Masks are still being worn, but we're so used to it now, it's not even noticed. Some small shops have access restrictions, one out, one in.
All is good!
I've done a thread about our motorhoming in Spain during Covid. It's in the Spain forum.
Thank you very muchSpain

We are having a mini-break from Murcia.... selectively choosing the right areas where we feel safe..No tests required to enter just PLF to fill in...Stayed on two Aires,, pretty empty..On Bonterra Park at moment No briits, couple of Dutch,Belgium and Germans but busy with Spanish..Most bars and restaurants open Beach very busy..Masks to be worn in public.BUSBY.
Yes...Thanks Busby. Does that mean masks outside of the motorhome?
We’re due in Spain around the 7th September, ferry Dover to Calais booked, campsite in Spain booked. Both carried over from last year! We’re watching what happens. We are having a mini-break from Murcia.... selectively choosing the right areas where we feel safe..
Currently on a huge Camperstop....everyone here in Spanish registered vans, one Dutch arrived this afternoon.....most folk know the rules that have been imposed on us during Covid.....would be good if visitors do the same... I'm sure if not you might have a friendly reminder or a less than friendly one from the Law enforcement officers...
The hospitals are less chaotic now than they were last year......expect changes, as we have too....weekly reviews are delivered......without doubt Spain and Portugal were at breaking point last year...the last thing they needed was hoards arriving for a holiday...getting sick and piling more pressure on the health services.....it's a different feeling now...but it's not gone away and if you could just wait a little longer it would've better for everyone.
Not on your pitch or around the pool or in bars and restaurants..BUSBY.Thanks Busby. Does that mean masks outside of the motorhome?
Well they didn't get hoards of holiday makers last year nor are they this year but are desperate for Brits to return...BUSBY.We are having a mini-break from Murcia.... selectively choosing the right areas where we feel safe..

Not correct then. Only exemptions are beaches& in the sea. Anywhere outside which includes on site pitch a mask has to be worn. Bars and restaurants mask has to be worn all the time except when actually eating or drinking. Red hot on it here. Not on your pitch or around the pool or in bars and restaurants..BUSBY.
I have to admit that strict mask wearing is going to be a deal breaker for me.
Sorry but not here. What would you be doing in a bar if you were not either eating or drinking. Not required on your pitch. What makes me laugh is if your running or cycling masks not required but they do it in large groups close together.BUSBY.Not correct then. I wear a mask for shops etc., here because I have to. I’m a retired nurse and I’ve worn masks for work in the past. I’m extremely dubious about whether they actually do anything to keep us safe, especially the unhygienic way they are used. Why?
It's a way of life here now. No big deal, we hardly notice it.
If you're exercising, you're excused. But proper exercise, not exercising your beer drinking arm.
That's fine....hope you can convince the Guardia Civil as he hands you a non compliance fine....they don't mess about here....break the law, get fined.....I wear a mask for shops etc., here because I have to. Should be it is the law..Sorry but not here.
Meant to be between mouthfuls & sips. On all rest of the time.Legally it is not possible to smoke either. The only allowance is eating & drinking. You can't remove a mask to have a fag. What would you be doing in a bar if you were not either eating or drinking.
keeping you safe or not isnt the question, the fact is it is required.I wear a mask for shops etc., here because I have to. I’m a retired nurse and I’ve worn masks for work in the past. Yes I know . I won’t be going to Spain any time soon if I have to wear a face covering.keeping you safe or not isnt the question, the fact is it is required.
And remember it is not a "mask" that is required, FFP1, FFP2, FFP3, or IIrc etc etc, it is a "face covering" so use the guidance as you see fit, to get access to what you want.
It's not like that this year and wasn't last year.Once sat down mask off. BUSBY.Should be it is the law..

If I have to wear a face covering outside, that is. All the evidence shows face coverings aren’t needed outside.Yes I know . I won’t be going to Spain any time soon if I have to wear a face covering.
We've been in Spain for days out since the Portugal/Spain border opened, not seen this rule at all in the restaurants we've been to? Wear mask in street yes, but once seated nobody wearing masks during meals. This was in Ayamonte, seated outside, busy with mainly Spanish folk.Should be it is the law..

Here in Tenerife it isn’t enforced at all.Should be it is the law..

In Spain it I'd a mask specifically.keeping you safe or not isnt the question, the fact is it is required.

Mask has to be on here when entering, sat down ,getting up to use toilet , ordering. Staff enforce it in every bar I go in .It's not like that this year and wasn't last year.Once sat down mask off. BUSBY.
As above, you won't get served without it on to start either.Wear mask in street yes, but once seated nobody wearing masks during meals.
As above. As soon as anyone sits down at a bar/restaurant it’s mask off.
