the answer is no for me but i did remove my over cab bed on my swift apache 634 when i discovered a: i couldnt sleep up there ( or morever - i was not fancying a ladder in the night darkness) and b: discovered it handles all the booze i could buy and take home......... but its very straight forward, nothing needing special tools an many have done it in many motorhomes - when we sold it i put it back in, as i say, very straight forwards.
