I have owned this model van 6 months and not yet discovered which light switch controls the two spots mounted on the ceiling above the kitchen servery island.
I have tried looking for wiring diagrams and drawn a blank but just knowing what switch controls these spotlights would be a good startin* point.

If they’re like the ones in ours you simply touch the other chrome ring to operate them

Well I have twisted them off the mount to check they are wired and looked inside the chrome cylinder there seems no switching mechanism in the body so I tried a meter to see if the red wire is live and no voltage showed so figured a question to someone in the know wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Hi There

We have an It 680 and the switch is in the the kitchen which controls both the lights.
I thought that both the IT and the TL models were very similar

Thanks for that I suspected they were controlled by one of those light switches- is it the switch that turns on the wine glass cabinet?

Hi

The left hand rocker turns the wine cabinet and the lights under it, the right hand rocker turns on the island lights.

On ours the same light switch that turns on the lights in and under the cabinet also turn on the spotlights. The other switch controls the light over the hob. Ours are very bright and will eventually swap them for a slightly dimmer bulb. The cabling goes directly along the ceiling to the wall and then can be seen behind the cupboard back panel. Wonder if someone has disconnected them?

Thanks that will be my first place to look - behind the cupboard panel for the plug point.

I would start with the back panel in the cupboard with the curved door and work backwards. Let us know what you find. Keep meaning to rejig mine as I would like to switch the spots separately. Have reworked extra lights in front lounge so that would complete my redesign! FYI the bulbs are LED 12V Glass MR16 GU5.3 Dimmable Lamp but want a 3w version

We’re you finding the overhead centre light too bright and the side lights just a little too dim? How did you modify?

never use the centre light. Like an operating theatre light!! i Also found side lights to bright so put an eBay dimmer in line. Also added side lit led tape lights along edge in cab and led tape in aluminium track under cabinet on drivers side. Also added usb charging points for phones etc on both side.
