Hi there,
We have a Burstner i820, it's a tag axle.
The shower waste is damaged and needs replacing but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to it.
The van is winterised and has a double floor set up. There are a couple of hatches in the floor but nothing that gives access to the waste.
Not sure photos will help particularly.
Has anyone got a similar van who can shed some light plebase.
Many thanks in advance.

Our shower is immediately behind my bed in the van.
Underneath my bed is a large space complete with an outside locker giving access.

I have the same FUBARed shower waste ATM and, in order to get to it, I removed the vertical boards that are between the two floors.
That gives me access to said shower waste.
It also, because of the light now shining through from underneath, (with the locker door open) allows me to see just how FUBARed that drain is.

Hope this helps

Hi Emmit,
Thanks for the info, unfortunately the shower waste on the Burstner appears to be properly boxed in. Im just going to have another look now and hope for some inspiration.

Maybe give CamperUK a ring. They are Bürstner dealers and their service dept are very knowledgeable. They have given us some useful advice about how to access things in our van.

Hi Maz
Thats good advice.
Id thought about that, but also thought that their reply might be to go to a service agent.
Id prefer to do it myself.
Based on what you've said Ill give them a ring on Tuesday.
Thanks.
