They’re good vans, you’ll no doubt be pleased with it. 👍

They are nice vans.

We nearly bought a new one about 8 years ago and would have done if the dealer had given us a better price for our Aviano.

I went to buy one at a show, decision made, when I bought my current one...... then the salesperson (I want to use a different word) said come back with your husband so we can discusd the sale.
Brilliant........
Any sensible Salesman knows to target the wife! If she wants it you can almost smug face the poor husband who will lose!

I don't HAVE a husband! Grrr. Yes, he lost the sale and probably his hearing..

The strange thing is, that same show in a 'regular' sales marquee I went for a porta potty thing for my daughter's campervan and the guy who owns the marquee served three men out of turn in front of me. When I spoke out, at his fourth attempt to do it, he said 'Oh, I thought you must be with one of the men. Can I help you?.'

I said something to the effect of 'you must be joking.' Sadly, that was the start of realising how men orientated mh world is. :(

We are now on our 2nd one would be the third but do not like the folding rear seats in the latest model our lounge is the biggest in the class which suits us .

How do you find the length when driving

Had 2 Burstners and both excellent. If they still made a small rear lounge A class they would have had another order off me

We’ve recently moved ‘up’ from our 8 m Autotrail we’d had for 6 years to an Elegance i890 tag.

Although I’d been wanting a big A Class for some time the Elegance took a bit of getting used to regarding living at the front (previous MoHo was u lounge) and the fixed table. We’re now completely sold on it! It’s so good for the 2 of us now the kids have sacked us off.

The additional metre length’s not really noticeable when driving, so just have to apply the same level of care for route planning etc.

The 3L auto’s very good, maybe a bit lurchey as is the case for Ducatos but it pulls so well, it’s also delivered 27 mpg across the 600 miles we’ve recently covered - which is better than the previous 2.3 / 150 multi jet managed.

One thing that makes us laugh is that we appear to have emerged starkly on to the radar of other campers, previously we were completely overlooked (which suited us), but this thing appears to stir strong reactions - a minimum of them being positive, many curious, many clearly along the lines of ‘what the f@ck is that monstrosity’ / ‘who the f@ck do they think they are’.

Levelling is a different game though - hence it being booked in for E&P install next month.

Cheers, Ian.

The length is no problem just have to be aware of the tail swing on tight corners and the overhang on the rear on steep slopes
