The front seats are out for re-upholstering & so I decided to do something about the 'stiff' swivel seat base plate(s).
Once fully disassembled I removed all the old grease & muck etc with degreaser, then I removed and inspected the plastic / nylon rings and they both appear fine. (both completely 'true' ... )

So after a bit of research I am now going to reassemble using a drying teflon motorbike chain spray as the lubricant for the swivel plates.

Any comments or alternative thoughts welcome ?
