Hi. Can anyone help. Just in front of the near side rear wheel on the inside of the skirt is a open small corrugated pipe. When I empty the bathroom sink I get a spurt of water from this pipe. The manual and a search on here does not give any indication what the pipe does.

Breather for the waste tank?

Waste tank is empty drains straight out. As a breather and not an overflow would than not be located high up in the tank.

Breather normally comes from the top and the pipe runs out underneath they don't have overflows.
