Good morning everyone, we are in the process of acquiring a Burstner 690. Unfortunately we have to wait a few weeks for delivery due to a Covid driven (!) glut of sales. The vehicle is some distance away so we're unable to measure up for things hence our request for advice on max TV size - we have identified a 22 inch that has a good spec but don't know if it will stow in the space provided .

Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks.

I think you should wait until you have it first. Failing that, phone the dealer for some dimensions. I wouldn’t buy anything until you know what you need. Plenty of items on classified section.

It not always about size !!!!

You need to consider where the Vesa mounting points are on the back of the TV, they are not always bang centre of the TV so although the whole size may fit a space, once mounted it could be up or down a little.
As above, maybe dont rush it and wait for delivery.

We want to have everything ready to go asap when the MH is delivered - time is precious! Have asked the sales people who emailed to say an 18 inch would fit but there aren't many smart 18" TVs to choose from. Hoping to hear from an existing 690 owner who has first hand experience. :giggle:

Worth noting that the optimum distance for viewing a tv is 3.5 x the distance you are watching it from, it’s not always about size, well that’s what I used to tell the wife.

I've fitted a 28" Samsung smart TV by moving the mounting over to the left a bit. It tucks behind the door pillar and meets the mirror. It does need a sound bar as the speakers are trapped tight at the back.

Thanks Alex, exactly the sort of insight I was hoping for! On that basis we should be fine with a 22" or even 24".

We're looking forward to getting the 690 ...18 moths old and only1016 miles on the clock ... we've been looking for sometime and then found this one before it was even advertised! Any other tips on the type will be very welcome.

We have a 680... not sure you're gonna get one as big as you might like in that gap....I reckon without sodding around only a 16.why bother with a tv. Unlimited data sim, laptop, mifi.... sorted. No holes in roof and all the it you can want
