We are looking for a dealer that have plenty of the above MHs for sale. We are in West Sussex but don’t mind travelling.
Dealers this way have just one or none on their forecourt.
Any thoughts please?

Southdowns in Portsmouth may be worth a visit. We purchased our Burstner there 4 years ago and I recall that they had quite a few Burstner vans, not so sure about Hymer though. Good luck in your search

When we were looking for ours, we went up to Becks in Norfolk. They have a pretty good range of both, staff are very helpful too.
Have a look at their website and see if it’s worth the trip. We travelled to them from Brittany!

don’t mind travelling
Campirama in Belgium, massive selection of new and used and great prices.
We bought our Hymer in the UK but if we buy again it’ll definitely be over there.
Burstner or Hymer? Either, both good, just whatever size/layout suits.

Premier at Birdham near Chichester have a reasonable Stock of Hymer's. I wouldn't pay silly UK prices for a Hymer, on our third Hymer all bought from Campirama in Belgium.

All the new Hymer ranges use the PUAL 2 system with double skinned alloy walls, I think Burstner still use ply inner walls.

Isn't that where Lenny buys his from?
On our radar should we decide to buy a LHD Hymer in the future
Yep bought 3 from there, will be there later today for for a couple of bits of warranty work and Goldschmitt full air being fitted.
I'll puts some pics up later so you can see what their stock is like.

Good point if ply bothers you, but a lot of Burstners now have totally wood free construction.

Should it transpire that the UK leaves without a deal your import will be subject to import duty 10% . This applies to new and SH Vehicles.

We have had two hymer. One used and one new. Very pleased overall, so not all hype.....

Hymer = hype. Dethleffs are better.
My wife always thought Dethleffs were quite good until she looked in some and was surprised how down market they were compared to Hymer's.:D
I did explain to her they were considerably cheaper and probably better value.

You pays your money and takes your choice. Burstener or Hymer. (y)

Another vote for Becks at Martham, a photo of when we went for service a few weeks back, lots of new and used stock and good to deal with.

Well my top Van's in no particular order
Rapido
Le Voyager

Burstner
Pilote

All have pros and cons and all different value for money as Lenny puts it.

No ply in mine from 2015

Thank you all very much for the information. Over the next couple of weeks we will go have a look at some of the dealers.

If you are talking A class fiat based N&B are comfortably the best you can get but quality costs.
A few good used ones around though, including a couple on Fun.

Premier just south of Chichester are worth a visit, we bought our from there - also a good selection of stock.
We found with 70% use of our driving in Europe we still prefer right hand drive as the UK is far more congested. We feel quite comfortable driving RHD in Europe and feel we made a good decision.

Driving doesn't make a lot of odds but when it comes to changing the van LHD far more preferable. You can sell or trade a LHD anywhere in Europe, RHD you are stuck with selling/ trading in the UK.
Last van we traded in Belgium got more than we could have sold it for privately in the UK and £12k more than UK dealers were offering.

Niessman and bischoff are top notch. I would definitely be looking at them if we were switching from our hymer.

If you don't mind travelling a bit far afield and importing, consider Durwang in Dusseldorf. Sebastian will take you through the process and make it easy. Huge stock of used and new at German prices (= a LOT lower than UK)

Another vote for Becks from me. I like the way they heavily discount stock they have had in for a few months, makes it possible to buy a real, genuine bargain (like we did). Smashing people to deal with, you can stay overnight on their little "aire" and they lend you a car if you are having work done. What’s not to like?
