Burry Port Harbour Update

Vans are using the parking area on the front again, however the track down to the 'far slipway' is still barred ( the height barrier is visible behind the front van ).
I had a chat with the owner of the front van who said he hasn't had problems staying overnight with no charge, and that it is being "tolerated" by the owners of the marina and the Harbour Master.
There are no facilities, however there is a public loo the opposite side of the marina.

Yes Great to see Burry Port!!Brought back happy memories of 40 odd years ago with a young lady in the sand dunes on a Saturday night!!Used to be a club on the campsite.All the locals and those staying on campsite used to have a great time on Saturday night!!So did I.

I was staying at Pembrey CMC site over Xmas and new year and cycled along to Burry port and beyond, there was two campers parked up there then. Great view to wake up too.

This is one of my favourite boltholes easy to get to, the bakery is to die for (the cakes will probably help to kill me) lovely cream tea in the tearooms, and very well priced, great chip shop and a variety of pubs to choose from. Coop for the necessaries.
